Sophia – Gig Harbor Senior – Class of 2018

I love shoots at my senior’s homes, since they are unique to them and hold a special place in their heart. I firmly believe that you can have a fabulous shoot almost anywhere. Don’t get me wrong, location is important, very important, but it’s more about the light and interest than it is about the actual overall landscape. I think an alley can be great, or any street in the city, a park, industrial area, a sidewalk in front of your house or a beach! It’s all awesome! I LOVE Sophia’s beach session and since I did her sister’s shoot at the same location, we made sure it was totally different. Sophia’s mom and I went to high school together and her brother is one of the people that helped in the match making of Joe and I when we were just 16.

Many families choose to take the time to do a family picture at the end of a senior session (or sometimes at the very beginning). It’s the perfect time! It’s so easy to put it off and this is the perfect opportunity! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the last image! The best family shot ever! haha
