Linny is a 2012 Gig Harbor Senior and a talented pianist. Since I don’t have access to a grand piano out in a beautiful open field somewhere, I settled for the piano in my very own livingroom, but it is a beautiful one! Linny has been playing for 12 years.
Linny loves photography, as do many of the seniors I photograph. I have quite the group of creative seniors. Many of them are artistic in some way. They are dancers, photographers, sketchers, knitters, jewelry makers and musicians and the ones that aren’t appreciate art and artistic type photography.
What a beautiful image of Linny and a very cool camera! I want it Linny! She has always been interest in art, drawing in particular, but is now exploring photography more and may want to take that further in the future. She loves exploring and experiments with old equipment and making her own types of lenses by piecing them together with old parts she discovers. She is a doer!

Linny knew the general places she wanted to go. On her list, an alley. I have been eyeing this alley for a while now, so as soon as she mentioned it I thought of this place and love what we captured here.
We headed to the next location and stayed awhile. It’s one of my new favorite places to use when it’s a sunny day! Doesn’t Linny have a great smile? Her entire face just lights up.
She made her necklace. There is a little message inside the bottle!

See why I love this location? When it’s a bright sunny day, the flare is fun to play with and get some different looks.
And we just hide in the shade when we don’t want it.
I have noticed that seniors are all very busy people! Linny is part of the Chinese Club and Interact Club on top of her music, exploration of art and school.
I loved the guitar player strumming on the bridge. Since Linny has that artistic mind, I knew she would think it was cool too!

This next series of images are some of my favorites. We explored with different lenses and angles and well, Linny had a cute outfit and another cool camera!
