DAY 4 OF SENIOR WEEK
I know what your thinking. Why are there no guys in SENIOR week… well, it’s a fact… less guys get their senior pictures taken for some reason. I do have guys coming though… one will be featured next week and more to come after that. Come on guys, the girls can do it, so can you! Sorry, it’s the cheerleader coming out in me.![]()
Kelsey is an Auburn Mountainview Senior and a beautiful one. This sweet humble young girl has no idea how strikingly beautiful she is!
It was hard to chose from all the images I took of her. Each one got a gasp or an awe from me. The contrast of her dark hair, light skin and blue eyes just stand out, don’t they?
My daughter, Amanda wanted me to put more on the blog… but I think I already do a lot in my posts… an average of 25 on each post. Do my readers really want more?
Kelsey is a triple threat… Slow Pitch, Volleyball and Track.

Her mom and dad came along for the shoot, so we got a family shot of them. I love her dad’s expression in this!
My seniors have looked over my blog thoroughly before they book with me and have posts that are their favorites… I hear things like, “I want images that look like —” or “I like where you went with —,” but one of the most common requests I get is for one of my eye images. Kelsey wanted one and wow, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how they turned out. Some of my FAVORITES!
I got the inspiration from that National Geographic image from many years ago, of the Afghan girl.

Do you remember when I told you I found a cool old truck in an alley by my house and that you would see it again, if the right shoot came along? Well, Kelsey is a Taylor Swift fan and I thought this is the right shoot for it.

Another FAVORITE. I love how relaxed she is and I LOVE my seniors. I don’t know how it happens, but I always LOVE my seniors. They are really great people. I especially think it’s so fabulous when they friend me on Facebook and I get to keep up with their lives. I really hope I get to follow them through on their life’s photography journey – first the senior portraits, maybe college grad portraits, then engagement, then wedding, then pregnancy, then baby and family, etc… Hint, hint…![]()

Kelsey also likes a vintage inspired look, so we had fun with that – added some pearls and a great hair piece and a lovely girl.
One of my FAVORITES!!!![]()

GORGEOUS, STUNNING, BEAUTIFUL… um, ALLURING, LOVELY… shall I go on? PRETTY, ANGELIC… yes I used a thesaurus.

I love this wall and have used it once before, but over a year ago, so I’m allowed to use it again. ;)

OK, I have lots more, so I am just going to post them and stop talking… I know you just want to see the pictures anyways!

That’s the end… sorry Amanda, I know you want more, but you can look at all of them on my computer any time you want.
Kelsey, Tim and Marie… what a pleasure to meet you all.
