Kaylan is another Gig Harbor senior and as you can see, she is stunning!

We wanted a big variety in this shoot, so we started in downtown Tacoma.  It was lightly raining YET AGAIN, so we found a place that would keep us covered for the most part.  I loved how reflective this glass was and took full advantage of it.Tacoma Gig Harbor Seattle Senior Portraits

LOVE her shirt, get it, LOVE…:DTacoma Gig Harbor Seattle Senior Portraits

High school seniors DID NOT look like this when I was in high school!  Tacoma Gig Harbor Seattle Senior Portraits

Ah, wow! Need I say more?

Yep, this is Kaylan, just hangin’ out on the staircase.  Just another day in the life of Kaylan:)

The light, when it’s raining, is always so amazing.  I very seldom cancel senior sessions because of the rain.  We can usually find places to go and I have never been disappointed with the outcome.  It’s much harder for family shoots though, especially when there is a baby or small children.Tacoma Gig Harbor Seattle Senior Portraits

After Tacoma, we headed to Gig Harbor where we met up with Ritchie, her Thoroughbred.  He has an injured back and Kaylan has not been able to ride him for 2 years now.  My visions of her riding bare back in a long white gown were quickly squashed!

He is beautiful isn’t he?  I just love ALL animals.  They make me laugh:D.Tacoma Gig Harbor Seattle Senior Portraits

This guy is very busy, Kaylan says he has horse ADD.  He was constantly moving.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this image.  Mom and her girls. Oh, and can you see all the rain around them?  It threatened us all day, but we ignored it.Tacoma Gig Harbor Seattle Senior Portraits

Who knew you could look so beautiful in a barn!Tacoma Gig Harbor Seattle Senior Portraits

On the way to the stables we passed this breath-taking row of Cherry Blossom trees and had to stop on the way back.  Kaylan says she admires them every spring, so what a perfect thing to capture for her!

Simply gorgeous!  To the right of her an open field with goats roaming about and behind her geese laying in the pathway.  This is what they mean by picture perfect!Tacoma Gig Harbor Seattle Senior Portraits

Next stop, her Dad’s fishing boat down in the harbor!  What a fun shoot!  I didn’t want to stop!  My classic pose… of course on the edge of the boat.  Where else?

And a close up!Tacoma Gig Harbor Seattle Senior Portraits

I really could have shot the entire session in the one location.  I was overwhelmed with all the possibilities and Kaylan was such a great model.  The best of both worlds really!Tacoma Gig Harbor Seattle Senior Portraits

Just when we were wrapping up, Kaylan remembered one more shirt she REALLY wanted in her pics, so she did a quick change and we grabbed just a few more.

I never want anyone to leave a session disappointed and it only took a couple of minutes to get these stunning images of her.
