SENIOR WEEK times 2 ends week 1 with Katie, an Emerald Ridge senior.
What I loved about Katie was her easy going attitude, her old-time style and her slightly tilted smirk. Such a beauty.
We didn’t plan on using an umbrella, but it started to sprinkle just a bit, so I pulled it out of my trunk and loved how it looked with her outfit. What a perfect compliment.

Um, gorgeous, do I need to even say it?
I thought it would be fun to have the contrast of “proper” with the graffiti. That is all I had to say and Katie was right on with the look!
What a fun series!

This is one of my FAVORITES. There is an innocence to it. It would make a great fragrance ad with a byline of “He WILL remember me”.
I make sure to get the normal stuff too. I know the parents and grandparents appreciate it and I want to give a variety anyway.
Katie and I had fun driving around town finding places I haven’t used before. I know as my clients follow me around town they probably think I’m just a little crazy. You never know where I might pull over – conversations of “what is she doing” and “where is she going” are happening in the car and I am totally clueless thinking they know exactly what I’m doing, they see what I see.
There are always people watching and right when I had Katie lie down a gust of wind blew her dress up. We had noticed people waiting at the bus stop across the street, so Katie knew they probably saw a little more than she had planned on them seeing
. I caught this embarrassed laugh as she pulled her dress back down.
Katie then made a quick change and we were onto our next location.

Isn’t this wall fabulous! I can’t believe I didn’t know about it! I thought I knew about every cool spot in Tacoma, but obviously I was wrong!
And this too, right down the street from the mosaic wall, score!
I can’t pass up a wide angle moment.
Katie, you are adorable.
Ok, I love this one, do you? Is it just me? It’s like she is begging to be let in. It makes me smile.
Time for a little nature…
…with her cute little jean vest and cowboy boots!

Before we wrapped the session up, we decided to make one more stop by the water and Katie pulled out her camera. She’s a Nikon girl (I’m Canon).
She shoots things of interest, mostly landscapes.
A couple more of beautiful Katie.
Laughter, there’s just nothing like it.
That was a great week of seniors and we have another great week coming with Ashley, Gabby, (Madison, Emilee, Kolby – group shoot), Zoey and Taitum.
