IT’S DAY 2 OF SENIOR WEEK
Callie is a Puyallup High School senior.
What do you do when it rains on the day of your photo shoot? You do it anyways!
We found garages to hide in. This is one of my FAVORITES.
We used the garage until the rain was a little less heavy.

Then we used an umbrella.
We took pictures of wet hair.![]()

We hid out in places the rain couldn’t reach.
And wore hats, another FAVORITE.

And sometimes we just let it rain on us (well her, not me, I was under an umbrella
). You can’t even tell it was sprinkling…

I thought this just looked strange with a partially torn down building in front and the nice building in the back. What you can find in downtown Tacoma!
We went back to umbrellas.
And again, just waited for it to stop a little. What’s a little rain anyways, we live in the Pacific Northwest, it rains here all the time! I hate canceling shoots. My clients take care in getting ready for the day, some take a day off of work or leave school early, get their hair done and make-up done, have gotten all their clothes packed and excited to have a special day dedicated to them. Then, it rains… how disappointing and the weather changes so quickly, why not just take a risk and see how it goes.

There are some days we just have to cancel, but I’m glad we went ahead with this shoot. I love what we got and the light on rainy days is magical.

Thanks for enduring the weather Callie. As you can see, it was worth it! Love this one!
