Another Bellarmine High School Senior… meet Blake.
I spent some time with Blake out on the water during an early morning rowing practice this summer. He decided to split his session, so I could capture him in action.

I thought this picture showcased his strength well… in his arms and legs! Rowing is hard work! I, on the other hand was in a little boat with a motor and only lifting the weight of my camera
.
We finished up with the remaining portraits during the fall.
We found a really cool location to do most of his shoot. I love when that happens!
Is this place just crazy or what!
Blake will be attending UW next year.

Another beautiful fall day for senior portraits… so sunny we even used sunglasses!
One of my FAVORITES!
My senior guys have been impressive lately, with the variety of clothing they bring on shoots.
I love the texture of this wall. In fact, I love all the textures I got on this shoot.

I can tell you that we both had fun coming up with different spots in this area, trecking through bushes and jumping over walls.
No one puts Blake in the corner (hahaha)… ok, maybe you’re not old enough to remember that… but I thought it was funny. Another FAVORITE.

I accused Blake of practicing his modeling looks in the mirror before the shoot. He did such a great job I thought for sure he had. He said that he didn’t… I don’t believe him
.
Love this one!
Almost every senior comes with a wrist full of colorful bracelets.
We did hit the waterfront too, since Blake is a huge fan of the water.

It’s good to do portraits that show who you are… Blake’s crew jacket.
Again, love this. There’s just something about it. It’s not one I would put on a senior announcement of course, or in the yearbook… but senior pictures are more than just that. They are your chance to also get some cool images that you wouldn’t ordinarily get. Step out of the box from the norm and get something much more memorable.
A FAVORITE for sure!
Another FAVORITE, for the sole reason that this is a natural smile that came from Blake when his phone went off in my pocket. The ring tone was quite funny and at first I didn’t know where the talking was coming from.

I love all the car pics! This pose was Blake’s idea. I am so impressed again with my seniors, they are just on top of their game. All have been very responsible, fun, courteous, smart, athletic, and all around good people. They are really my favorite group of people to photograph.

I have another senior guy coming Friday and if the weather cooperates, will have a few more next week
. Thanks for hanging out with me on the blog. I love having your company
