SENIOR WEEK times 2… continues with week 2 of AWESOME seniors
That means I will post a senior every day Monday thru Friday for this week too.
This week includes:
Monday – Ashley from Curtis High School
Tuesday – Gabby from Peninsula High School
Wednesday – Madison, Kolby from Rogers High School and Emilee from Puyallup High School.
Thursday – Zoey from Rainier High School
Friday – Taitum from Tacoma Baptist School
So we begin again….
Ashley is a Curtis High School senior and a very cheerful one indeed!
She has a party going on all by herself. I love that and I love this image of her.
One of my favorite things to do with my seniors is to just have a conversation with them while I capture their natural movements. There is no better way to bring out their personality!
Ashley is one busy girl – she is active in school with cheerleading and water polo and on the side is a life guard and teaches swimming!
She plans to go to college to study medicine. With her cheerful attitude I am sure she will bring joy to many in that field!

You might recognize this green structure, it’s right outside the Hotel Murano.
As soon as Ashley saw it, she wanted to use it.

Since Ashley is a cheerleader, I wanted to show her energetic side. The image on the right makes me laugh.
One of my FAVORITES.
After the downtown experience, we decided to hit the waterfront pier, since Ashley loves the water!

I get this reaction sometimes when asking for that more serious look. It’s hard, especially when you are so full of laughter like Ashley.
She was eventually able to do it though! I just had to be fast in order to capture it.![]()

Like most seniors, their phones are their lifeline to the world! A photo shoot is not going to stop that – hahaha
. That’s fine with me, it’s who they are and that is exactly what I want to capture.

She plans on going to UW, so we had to include her sweatshirt.

Right before the session ended her mom and sister joined us. I made sure to get a few with the family. I love these 2 of the sisters having fun together. Each wearing their Toms – one with black sparkles and the other pink sparkles.

Another great session with a wonderful senior.
I feel so honored to have met so many wonderful seniors this school year. They are just a small sampling of all that are graduating, but if that is any indication of the rest of them, we have a really great generation coming – full of laughter, intelligence and compassion.
