Do you remember my gallery wall from this post ? The link will direct you to my old blog, just hit the back arrow to return back here.

My gallery is made up of other people I have photographed and all was printed at Scrapbook Pictures. I am happy with the quality of pictures from them since they have pro matte and metallic paper available and I love that my clients can use them as well… saving a ton on printing costs vs the “professional only” labs. NOTE: I do use those too, since they have such a wide variety of products and the quality is superb, but I like to offer some other options to my clients. We are all watching our budgets these days
.
I have a wall gallery full of family photos too in the upstairs hallway, but it really needs to be revamped, so can’t bring myself to show you that one! There are some really tacky frames and old faded photos… but I do still love them!
I have several clients that have created their own wall galleries with my images. I think they did an awesome job, just see for yourself!

Jill sent me the following images of the gallery she put together of her family (some are the ones from her son, Ryan’s graduation session).

She put together the gallery by purchasing 12×16 prints and mounting them herself on foam board, then adhering them to the wall with velcro framing strips. This way she can easily trade them out when newer images come along that are wall worthy. All were printed at Costco.
She also got a gallery wrap from Costco… she says it looks fabulous and was very economical.

Carmela has several walls chuck full of the images of her child, Joely, some in all black and white.

And others in full color…

I think they are stunning. These are a combination of several shoots I did in 2008 and no longer have my first blog so can’t direct you to the shoot
sorry. All are framed using invisible frames she purchased via the Internet.
She also had them printed in the 12×16 size. Many people order the standard 8×10 or 11×14, not realizing that those images will require you to chop off a portion of your image. By getting the 12×16 size you keep all the image, but the frames may be harder to find… INTERNET has everything though, so don’t let that hold you back if that is what you want.

Shelly created smaller galleries around her house with her daughter, Natalie’s portraits. The link will direct you to my old blog, just hit the back arrow to return back here.
This one is just one image, but stunning all on it’s own.

She has more in her daughter’s play room.
And more in the family room…
Aren’t the sayings above the photos a clever idea? They make them so personable.
She printed them all at Costco and had them mounted and framed at Tacoma Art Supply.

There are great canvas options available these days, making a collage easy and affordable. That is going to be a future project for me and I will be sure to include you in on it!
Check out MPIX too, they are a great site for product selection and quality. Have fun with it! As your photographer I also have access to MPIX Pro and other professional labs if that is what you choose. Choices, choices, choices!
I hope that inspires you to get those images out and display them. Don’t let them collect dust in a box or be left forgotten on your computer hard drive. It doesn’t matter if a professional took them or not. I am sure there are plenty of images you have taken that are your favorites. Show them off!
Send your gallery pictures to me… I would love to see them!
Enjoy the day!!
