I thought of a lot of different things for this one… but landed on this image. Sorry it is so late!
I have more faith today than I have ever had in my entire life. I put fear to the side this past year, the words that so often echoed in my head – words of discouragement and discontentment – they are no longer welcome. They still try to come and haunt me, but I do not let them in. Today God is in charge and I am no longer the leader, but a content follower. It is a feeling of peace that can not be obtained in other way and I am so glad I took that HUGE leap of faith, walked away from a 20+ year career at REI and started my own photography business. Was it a sure thing – definitely NOT, was it risky – YES, but is it worth it? Oh ya!
Faith is more than a belief, it’s an action and everyday I choose to follow Him and act on His words and for that I feel I have been blessed beyond measure.
Thank you for helping me fulfill a dream to be home with my family and do something I love… all in the name of Jesus. Amen!
