Stephanie, Phil, Peyton and Taylor spent a little time with me on a cold fall morning. It was drizzling and the ground was soaked from the downpour the day before, so we hit a nearby garage… yes, family portraits in a garage. The fall colors weren’t there, but that’s ok. We did just fine!
Most people want pictures this time of year for their Christmas cards. It makes sense, but the weather is so unpredictable that it makes it very hard. One day a family gets the beautiful sun with fall leaves and the next day they get an old garage with oil stains. But, what both families get are memories that they will treasure forever, no matter what the backdrop.
A FAVORITE!
Peyton LOVES her baby sister, Taylor.
I love black and white baby pictures and score, a SMILE and one of my FAVORITES.
Alone in a garage with no place to go… not really, but just go with it.
Peyton brought along some of her favorite dress up stuff. A beautiful flower, pearls, a wand and a lovely tutu. Don’t you love the shape of her eyebrows? I also love how this pictures helps tell the story of how small she is.
Taylor had a cute little tutu too!
Ballerina Peyton. Adorable!
Love the vintage wash of these next two. So sweet and delicate like these 2 little girls.
More tutu action.
Cutie patutie! Is there actually a correct spelling of that?
Sisters playing.
This picture belongs in a frame next to the parent’s bed… don’t you think?
Oh, can’t forget the shades!
Thank you Horan family for trusting me to take your portraits and trusting that even though we were in a dirty garage we would still capture your family, just how they are… beautiful.
