Now, this was a FUN shoot! There are not many things in the world that make me laugh and fill me with joy more than animals do. I have a deep deep love for them and I have since I can remember. I personally think that there is something wrong with someone who doesn’t love them or has to force themselves to be near them. Sorry if that is you, maybe therapy would help
.
The fun details found on their incredible property made it even more special.
LOVED this!
They had chickens, goats, horses, dogs, cats and a bird (did I miss something?). I used to work at the Pt. Defiance Zoo in college and milked the goats as part of my regular morning routine. It was great just to be around them again. That job was my favorite until this job. I don’t think I could pick between the two now. I would love them both.

They have 2 Great Danes… They have such strength but it’s used for love.
Compare them to this little guy! Talk about extremes!
I laughed most about the need for the dogs to be in all the pictures. Donni refused to be left out of the girl’s pictures. He made himself right at home! This was a total gut laughing moment for me!
We did manage to get one with all the girls and Donni. This is one of my FAVORITES. You can’t stage this kind of stuff. That’s what makes it so special!
And just one of the girls.
This tree was so beautiful that we had to get it in a shot. Wait until you see the water next to it and the cool tree laying in it.
See, isn’t this home just beautiful? This is another FAVORITE, mostly because of the girl’s expressions.![]()

Can you see the reflection of the girls in the water? Darci and Greg you did good
.
I always get a picture of families walking. They look so much more relaxed when they are just walking and talking. As you can see, their dog, Gracie, is following them!
The Sweet girls…
I had to get the 5 sweet girls kissing Greg! Greg and I went to grade school and Junior High together. He was a year younger than me and we didn’t hang out or anything, but I remember him very well. We road the school bus together and both grew up in the Fircrest area. We came in contact with each other again when Joe starting hanging out with his brother, Matt. They are all musicians and are now writing music together.
A few cute pics of the girls… Gracie, the dog, could NOT be left out!

They wanted a pic by the big cedar tree… but we had to make it a fun one of course!
Another request from them… a classic.
Destany is 19, Allie 17 (I am doing her senior portraits in about a week).
Gabby 15 and Maddy just turned 14 last week.
This series was a fun one and wrapped up the session. We always have so much fun with families!
Hope you enjoyed this “Sweet” family!!! I sure did.
Thank you for a great day Sweets, including the great meal, the fun company and the movie! We loved hanging out with you all!
