The Barney family lives on Raft Island in Gig Harbor, so we decided to do their shoot at the little community beach there.
Mac is a busy 3 1/2 year old and he really just does not have time to wait for a picture.
He has places to go and things to see!
But we did manage to get a few of him, when he wasn’t expecting it

His little brother, Kai 1 1/2 liked the camera! The weathered wood just looks like a Northwest beach doesn’t it?
I love the composition of this one! Boys, rocks and water, they just go together.
Hurry parents, Mac is in the water. Go behind him and let’s get a family picture! This is the freedom of doing this kind of shoot vs a studio. Kristin (mom) just wanted a mini-shoot which is perfect for families with small kids. They just don’t have the attention span to sit and look perfect. They want to have fun. Who can blame them!
They want to throw rocks with their dad (Jeff) and hang out on the beach.
Littler ones, like Kai, are a bit easier.
We managed to get one of just Jeff and Kristin too.
