I find that people are doing this more and more… having mini-family reunions for the sole purpose of getting family portraits with EVERYONE in them. Really, it makes sense. Gather everyone together at the same time, at the same place and in just 1 hour you can get a large family cycled through and everyone gets a family picture and some great shots of their kids too.
True, there isn’t time to do some of the more creative stuff in this situation, but you can still have fun and get some great shots and family memories.
This family is REALLY into soccer!
Katie (the one that arranged all this – holding the dog on the right below) is putting together a printed family book. If you don’t have the time to put together a hand crafted scrapbook with all the embellishments and fancy papers then this is definitely the way to go… and there are lots of sites you can build and order your own books – from leather bound to paperbacks.
Katie’s daughter, Sierra (far right below), is one of the first seniors I ever shot back in 2008. I have her brother and sister’s shoots to now look forward to
.
What stunning eyes!
Kurtis is such a good sport! Love this face… priceless!
We got pics of the grandparents…
Just the grandkids…
Another family and kids…

And another…
These two are engaged!
And so many more combinations!
All from the comforts of Katie and Darren’s backyard. Good planning Katie!
Another family shoot coming up soon on the blog… I had 4 shoots in 5 days and am trying to get them all prepared to show you
. Keep coming back!
