Leslie said it’s been a long time since they had family pictures taken, so she made the step, scheduled an appointment and we made it happen!
Like most 16 year olds, Kelcie was all into getting her picture taken and why shouldn’t she be…. ADORABLE!
This was a fun family. Shane was a bit confused about the whole process of a photo shoot. He thought – you show up to one spot, take one picture, jump in your car, go to the next, take one more, and so on. Nope, we explained to him at every stop… there will be LOTS of picture taking. He was good through the whole thing though and made us laugh!
Kelcie and I understood each other… this was really about HER and not them. I know, I know Kelcie… but they have to get their pictures taken too, wink.
Love her boots!
My friend Suzy came along to be my assistant (ok, I really just wanted her to hang out with me so I told her she had to come!). We had a great time along with Kelcie “encouraging” this next series.
One of my FAVORITES.
Half-way through the shoot Kelcie pulls out her vintage Polaroid and it’s a talking one to boot! She had me take a pic of her family with it to remember the occasion by. So cool! The film is outrageously expensive since they don’t make it anymore, so she uses it for special occasions and this was one of those special moments.
Cute, cute, cute!
Kelcie has the most interesting eyes – a grey blue. She definitely has her mom’s smile.
Shane and Leslie, because everyone needs a good picture of themselves!
We found this parked school bus in a nearby parking lot, so decided to use it. I wish we could have gone inside, but I still love what we got.
Oh, and yet another of Kelcie. Go figure.
Shane loves the outdoors, so we had to get a few in the park.
I have lots more, but we will end this one, a good old fashioned family portrait, but better.
Thanks for hanging out with me and trusting I would capture your family the way you wanted to be captured! I loved every minute of it.
