Ellie and Greg – Engagement Portraits

Ellie and Greg dared the freezing cold and sometimes rain to hang out with Joe and I for a few hours on Sunday.  They are getting married in July and wanted engagement pictures.  We are, unfortunately, booked and so can’t do the wedding, but we could do the engagement.  I tried talking Ellie into changing her date (kidding her of course), but the venue has limited openings… so engagement shoot it is.:)

With Greg in Idaho in college and Ellie in Tacoma in college we had to find a time when both were together.  That is not easy with busy college schedules.  Engagement Photos Tacoma

Are they not adorable people?  Adorable I say!Engagement Photography Tacoma

The ground was pretty wet and air cold, so we tried keeping noses warm.  Ellie and Greg had an easier time, since well, we had them kissing a lot… we warned then ahead of time. They didn’t seem to mind.:)Engagement Portraits Tacoma Photographer

The rain came and went like always.  I brought my vintage umbrella to use just in case and jumped at the chance with the first drop I felt!Engagement Portraits Tacoma Photographer

I wanted to make sure we got the bare trees since it would be obvious that we were doing this in the winter.  We were hoping for snow, but didn’t get it.  Another FAVORITE just because it’s fun!Engagement Portraits Tacoma Photographer

Another FAVORITE because I like the symbolism.  The long road ahead, a journey they are beginning… together.Engagement Portraits Tacoma Photographer

Laying on this floor was like laying on an ice cube, but it’s just what you have to do for images like this.  I love it!Engagement Portraits Tacoma Photographer

Ellie and Greg, we had a great time with you and thank you so much for wanting us to do your engagement pictures. We were honored!  I can’t wait to watch you grow as a couple and keep up on your new life together.
