Kari wanted something special to give her husband for Valentine’s Day. She gave thought to what he loves and wants and decided on his number one love/want… her
. He loves her eyes, her shoulders and I would imagine a lot more than just that! She decided on a boudoir session with me, but extended it to a little more, so she could get some other fun portraits. She brought me a few pictures she loved from catalogs and a few from the internet and I knew exactly what she was looking for.
We decided to start in my bedroom and then move to the outdoors. We also decided that many of the pictures were for her hubby’s eyes only. Just know that they are STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL! Some were on the romantic side, some edgy and some just sexy. I picked a few I could show you.

When I pulled this one up I couldn’t believe what I saw on the floor. The light from the window had made a heart. How perfect is that! One of my FAVORITES for sure.

Kari LOVES shoes, so I had her bring some of her favorites along. I love how her tattoo is just peaking through on her back and you don’t even notice it at first.

Remember I said that Kari’s hubby loves her eyes? Well, we made sure we captured those for him!
We stopped to grab a bite to eat and I captured this. Love all the grain and old time feel.
One of my favorite vintage shops is Vanity Fashion Boutique on 6th Ave. The hat and faux fur wrap both came from there. Vintage romance all the way.

Kari, what a great day we had! It is so wonderful that you put so much thought into your husband’s gift. I know he will treasure these forever. I am so glad you did this for yourself as well. We all deserve to have beautiful pictures of ourselves that we feel good about. Thanks for letting me do that for you!
